There
a number of ways to obtain papers from the eJournals, depending
on your subscription
type.
Pay
Per Download (PPD)
Pay
Per Download is the default, non-subscription account type when
you register. It is the standard account type that you will use
to access papers from all journals unless you have subscribed
to a particular journal.
With
a Pay
Per Download account, as the name suggests, requires you to pay
for every paper you wish to download.
The
site provides a typical style shopping cart facility that will
allow you to add papers
to a cart, and then proceed to a secure server checkout where
you can pay for your papers via credit or debit card. Once your
payment
has been authorised, you will be granted access to the selected
papers for a period of 24 hours.
Follow
these instructions to purchase a paper using a Pay Per Download
Account:
-
Browse
through our eJournals and find a paper you would like to purchase.
-
The
next step is to add the paper to your shopping cart by clicking
on the corresponding icon.
You will be then redirected to your shopping cart where you can
make changes before progressing to the checkout.
-
Repeat
these steps until you have added all papers you wish to purchase.
-
Click
the Buy now button to be redirected to the secure payment server.
Follow onscreen instructions to complete your purchase.
-
Once your payment has been verified, you can download your papers
from the 'My Account'
Personal
Subscription Based Access
If
you have a valid subscription for aparticular journal, then you
will be able to download any of its papers on request by clicking
on the required papers correseponding icon.
The paper will automatically be downloaded.
When
you have a subscription to one journal, but not to any of the others,
your account for the other journals will function in the same way
as
if you were accessing them from a Pay Per Download Account (See
Above).
Institutional
Subscription Access (Online Only)
If
you are part of an institution, such as a college or a university,
you can setup an Institutional Subscription which works exactly
the same as a personal subscription, but it allows you to use
IP Authentication so that every computer in your institutions
network can automatically be given access to the subscription
without
the need for login.
If you
are logged into a subscription account via IP Authentication, or
a Remote Account of that supscription account, all Pay Per Download
abilities are disabled and you will be required to 'switch accounts'
before you can purchase individual papers.
