This contained a critique of the public failure of London Ambulance, when it became computerised, and offered a 'good practice' framework for managing computer projects. It became the beginning of a programme funded by Glasgow Caledonian University into why design methodologies so often failed to deliver added value in computer projects and to computer mediated jobs.
